Artisans market and art & craft demonstrations
Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th November 2023
Join McClelland Guild of Artists, Peninsula Woodturners Guild and McClelland Spinners and Weavers as they open their studios and workshops for a fun and interactive weekend of demonstrations. Wander along the Artisans discovery trail between the Pavilion Gallery and the Studios and observe artists painting plein air in the beautiful bushland setting of McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery.
Art Show: The McClelland Guild of Artists will host their annual Art Exhibition with a high standard of artworks available for sale. See a diverse collection of artworks, in various media, painted by talented Guild Members who have the opportunity to each enter up to five pieces of art into the event. A nominal entry fee of $10 per entry is levied to cover exhibition expenses, making it accessible for artists to showcase their work. This is an excellent opportunity to appreciate and purchase art from local and established artists, making it a potential highlight for collectors and art enthusiasts.
Guild members can download the 2023 EXHIBITION Entry Form here.
Art Competition: Guild members also have the chance to participate in a competition inspired by the sculptures and grounds of the park. This competition allows artists to showcase their creativity and interpretations of the park's beauty, offering attendees a chance to see the park through the eyes of talented artists.
